Pastors for Peace Study Institute to Havana, Cuba sponsored by the United
Church of Christ and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
• Preacher and Lecturer to Churches and Seminary in Kenya and Tanzania
sponsored by the Presbyterian Church of East Kenya in affiliation with the
Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the Overcoming Faith Centres, Kakamega,
Kenya
• Toured Japan, China, Cambodia, Thailand and India.
• Participated in an Evangelistic Tour out of Pyop University.
• Went on a holy pilgrimage to Amritsa, the sacred Golden Temple of
the Sheikh religion
• Participant in African American/African Institute in Ethiopia, sponsored
by the Interdenominational Theological Center. Attended the General Assembly
of the All Africa Conference of Churches. Worship Leader for first Diaspora
Service.
• Traveled to Addis Abab, Lallibela, and Axum. Served as Worship coordinator
for the entire month. Followed up with Jubilee 2000 activities in Washington,
D.C. to retire international debt
• Participant in Seminars in Israel Study Tour with Project Interchange
sponsored by the American Jewish Committee
• Participant in the African American Clergy Leadership Institute in
Seoul, Korea, sponsored by the D.C. government and Korean Friendship Committee.
Lectured at the Women’s University and was first woman to preach at
a Sunday morning worship service of the Evangelical Holiness Church in Seoul,
Korea. Taught a one-week, all-day class in Congregational Studies at Kwangu
Theological Seminary in Kwangu, Korea sponsored by the Howard University School
of Divinity
• Toured Capetown and Johannesburg, South Africa, pursuing viable economic
development projects for the African Heritage and Cultural Institute of America.
Visited with the American Consulate in Johannesburg.
